We invite you to make our Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast Inn, your home away from home, and experience the warmth and hospitality of Falmouth, Massachusetts
The Inn At One Main is a delightful Victorian with Queen Anne accents, an open front porch and a two story turret. The Inn was built in 1892 by a local hardware merchant. Our Cape Cod bed and breakfast surrounded by a white picket fence and tastefully landscaped grounds is a most attractive introduction to the charming 300 year old Cape Cod village of Falmouth.
This charming, totally refurbished inn was originally built in 1739 on land purchased from the resident Native Americans. Like many settlers of the village, the original owners of this homestead were Quakers. Lydia Dillingham, once mistress of the house now known as Chapoquoit Inn, was a diehard Quaker woman. It is reputed she was the last to give up wearing the traditional Quaker bonnet.
The Inn sits 45 feet up on a bluff, with panoramic ocean and Martha’s Vineyard views. Just 70 miles south of Boston and one hour from Providence, the Inn is perfectly located for sightseeing throughout Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Newport and Plymouth
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Mostly Hall is a southern plantation style home with Greek revival accents. It was built in 1849 by sea Captain Albert Nye as a summer home for his wife, Henrietta Forbes who hailed from South Carolina. Located at the Falmouth Historic Green, Mostly Hall is set on an acre plus of park-like grounds in the heart of the town's historic district.
Mostly Hall was the first bed and breakfast in Falmouth, opening its doors to guests in 1980.
Built at the turn of the century, the Queen Anne style Cape Cod Inn and adjacent bed and breakfast Guest House reflect the gentility and charm of the Victorian Age. Stained glass windows, rich woodwork, gleaming hardwood floors and antique furnishings create an overall sense of warmth and harmony to this Cape Cod bed and breakfast. We also offer one ADA Handicapped Accessible room.
